Blessings

A blessing is a circle of light that surrounds a person with protection, healing, and strength.

Blessings is a ministry that seeks to give that help by giving emergency assistance while at the same time providing resources and help to navigate the systems that can get life back on track. By welcoming those in need into our midst and giving assistance, we are practicing Christian hospitality and there is a blessing in that. By sharing time and resources we are offering a blessing to those we help.

Blessings is open on Mondays from 10-1, except for holidays. The program offers a to-go food bag with small-amount King Soopers cards and RTD passes.

Help support Blessings!

The Blessings Pantry is in need of your faithful generosity.  Our client numbers keep climbing and the number of to-go bags of food we give keep dwindling. Our guests, many homeless and many in need, are helped with King Soopers gift cards, bus passes, information about where they can receive greater long term help, the listening caring ear of a volunteer, and a to-go bag filled with healthy, filling snacks.

We rely on YOU to keep our pantry filled with food for the to-go bags. Please donate 16 oz ounce peanut butter jars (not the natural kind), tuna packets, ritz crackers in sleeves, Capri-Suns, bottled water, and diapers size newborn through size 4. Peanut butter is the hardest item to keep in stock. Please place these items in the grocery cart in the coatroom.

This ministry is supported entirely by your donations, your King Soopers shopping that gives a small percentage to Calvary, and the food that you donate.  In our ten years of operation we have given emergency help and the gift of hope to thousands of clients.
