Pastor Anne's Leave of Absence
As noted in the cover email about Calvary’s proposed 2025 budget sent on January 12, Pastor Anne will be taking a leave of absence. As you know, she has had a long and difficult journey since 2021 with her intensive involvement in our lawsuit concerning the roof, gutters, and HVAC. She spent many hours of her sabbatical and personal time working towards the best result for Calvary. While the trial has been delayed yet again, she has requested time off to recover from this stressful time and to allow her to be at her best when the trial does commence. The Executive Board unanimously approved this request! Pastor Anne’s leave will occur in two parts, the first one being from February 3 – March 31. The second part will be scheduled once we know more about the trial date. As a part of this leave, we will be providing part-time coverage through Present Nomads (Rev. Morgan Fletcher) to supplement and support Pastor Alice and the rest of the staff. Other details about coverage will be provided prior to Pastor Anne’s departure.
Thank you, Calvary, for providing Pastor Anne with this opportunity for recovery and rejuvenation.
